WF - Version: 1
Windows Workflow Foundation
2 days course
Description
Windows Workflow Foundation brings us a new programming experience. The Idea of modeling is not new, but the implementation is quite rare today. With WF it is easy to model a problem, to draw it as a workflow or a state machine using Visual Studio (or any other modeling tool like Visio) and WF framework will run the model for you. WF has an interesting threading model and it comes with several services like scheduling, persistence tracking, etc that help you to run your model in an efficient and reliable way. With WF you can just “see” your model. This is not another Visio Document; your architect drew which has nothing to do with the program. This is the program! This readability helps to understand and maintain the code. It is easy to change a model on design time and runtime. It is not a surprise that every major Microsoft product like BizTalk, MS-Office etc works with WF.
